Pearl is a very refined, seasoned lady. She arrived at ARF through no fault of her own and is trying to adjust to the very interactive Catty Shack. Pearl is affectionate and needs a quiet home with a loving, gentle person/family who will dote on her and treat her with the dignity a sophisticated, mature feline deserves.
Adoption fees are $85 for one cat or kitten / $120 for two kittens. Adopting two kittens together is beneficial for you and for the kittens - they keep each other company and learn appropriate limits to wrestling and nipping with each other, interacting with you in a calmer and more loving way.
The adoption fee includes: spaying or neutering; a feline leukemia & FIV test; age-appropriate vaccines including rabies vaccine for those over 6 months; general deworming and ear cleaning; blacklighting and first dose of heartworm & flea control. We generally allow kittens to go home after they reach 12 weeks of age and are big enough to be spayed or neutered. You are welcome to make an application on a specific kitten prior to that.
